Hopefully Kaner has a speedy recovery but also he needs to take the time he needs dont wanna rush the process and then re activate the injury. Hopefully one of the guys called up can fill in for Kane or maybe pulji breaks out finally?

Does 3 – 4 months count as long term injury reserve? That is almost the whole regular season. It would be nice if they could use Kanes salary to get another sniper until he returns. Bringing up a AHL guy will not do much the oilers really need a third lethal scorer behind McDavid and Draisaitl. Defense this year is already a bit weaker and now offense will be too. Lets hope the Oilers can pull this together.
You're deluding yourself. None of those guys in Bakersfield don't even know how to spell opportunity. If they did they would have made the roster. Call it what it is Kane is a devasting loss to the organization and the Oiler's scoring stats moving forward. No one in Bakersfield will come close to Kane's production. Holland needs to get his ass back into the market and make a major deal and figure out how to be financially creative. Actually a Blessing for the Oilers! Kane couldn’t keep up with his teammates and drew bad penalties. Rather shocked Kane was around this long.
