I thought the reports were that they had scouts at Canucks and Canadiens games? Like I know for sure they had some at the Montreal vs Winnipeg game and the Montreal vs Vancouver game (1 other Vancouver game I can’t remember)

stop toying with my emotions. someone taking meyers? takes the drama out of figuring out how to sign bo. we have lots of 7-8 defencemen on the payroll that can replace him and my bedard fantasy gets new life.
I don’t think winnipeg would get rid of Nate Schmidt. He’s too valuable in the room to get rid of!
Really, using old logical ways hasn’t worked for this team for years. Nobody wants these players we’re talking about lol Demko, Huges, Petty, even Bo or Miller. With the right trade partner 1-2 of these players can get this team heading in the right direction, not making playoffs but building a cup contender in 3-5 years. Draft picks, prospects, good players making less money, shorter terms that can fill in their roles. Signing players long-term doesn’t help this team. Only guy we’ll most likely have to keep is LT is OEL. Get rid of Miller before it’s to late. Like most recent Canuck players they’ll go on to win a cup, but just not here. I’m not convinced on any of Benning’s team is right for Vancouver. Tank for Bedard because I’d rather have him then anyone on this team right now. If not at least a good player is coming over. Keep this team together long enough until there’s nothing else to loose n make bold choices.
If Jets are doing well, I don’t think they want to rock the cradle. Staying on course should be the play. Unless a gift comes along. If OTT is interested in Myers, they probably want VAN to take a cap dump like Hamonic. But Hamonic did burn his bridge with VAN with his comments. By taking Hamonic back, I’d send him straight down to AHL and just bury $1m of $3m until his contract expires end of season. That’ll clear up net $4m for this year and $6m next year, so worth it. Burroughs is a better replacement RHD.
It's obvious you haven't kept up with the sens, Chabot has been playing extremely poorly compared to what he can play like, brannstrom sanderson and JBD have been some of the best defenseman on this team

The Canucks would have to add draft picks and retain salary to move myers , he's a bad defenseman on one of the worst defensive teams in hockey and has a huge contract. Unless the nucks were taking a bad contract back
I have to admit the team has played worse without him at times. Take off 2.25 of his contract. Picks and a player in return. He is tall with a lot of reach. Can still play with the Big Boys. Move him, but will have to trade someone else to get another D man during the off season. Pretty expensive for good right D men. Might get someone at trade deadline. And harder to find a team willing to part with a young right D man. Roll the dice on a project?
