  1. Can't score in the first, can't be stopped in the 3rd. I'm starting to think the Isles new identity is a split personality.

  2. not much to say about this win. it wasn't pretty. they beat the last place injury plagued bj's in ot. the good news is isles have won 8 of 10. the bad news is the two losses were shut outs. isles gotta stay out of long losing streaks.

  3. I’m really enjoying watching Nelson lately. I’d love to see him keep up this up. He is playing solid hockey & putting pucks on net w/ confidence.
I probably need to look up the stats on Barzel but it feels like he is getting to many turnovers the past 3 games. Maybe I’m wrong.

  4. I’ve been listening to this podcast for a longtime on my daily run and just found this. Awesome to finally put a face to a voice I hear almost daily for 30 mins or so.

  5. The biggest surprise so far is Sebastian Aho. I had given up on him. He's turning out to be better than Romanov, who hasn't had the impact I thought he would. That move he made behind the net to create the rebound was sweet, and his defense has been real solid. How about Mayfield? He's done everything this team has asked year after year while making less than he should, so it's nice to see him getting some recognition.
I'm still concerned at how disconnected the offense can be for long stretches. They won't be ready to have a winning record against the top teams until they figure out how to play 60 productive minutes.
I'm looking forward to todays game. There always seems to be some bad blood between these 2 teams.

  6. Seems like Pelech and Pulock are on the ice for most of GA….they should try Pelech and Dobson then Pulock and Romonov…
