I’m skeptical of all sports rumour reporting, but I’m most skeptical of reporting regarding contracts.
This is partially because, through 30 years of sports watching, contract signings often seem to come out of nowhere. Plus, what is a team going to be most tight-lipped about? Money.
Guys, I really think this is our last season with him. He’s already come out and said he feels like he’ll never win here. There’s no way he’d wanna re up after our start. It was fun. Bout to get a lot worse
Fairly sure he’s told the team he’s not coming back, doubt there is a number big enough.
