I see bad teams compete. That's the most disappointing thing to me. They look like they don't care most nights.
Usually I purchase seats for 4-6 games a year. Sitting on my wallet this year.

It's a crime that Bruce is basically doomed to take the fall for this. This is a disaster of mismanagement and bad spending on bad players. This team being hot garbage would be slightly more tolerable if we weren't also clawing at the cap ceiling.
I believe that Boudreau is coaching scared. He's scared of benching so called good players that are playing badly, namely Miller, Myers, OEL, Boeser, Demko and Pearson. Instead he benches or sits out Hoglander (21), Podkolzin (21), Rathbone(23), Stillman(24), Brisebois(25) and Burroughs. Martin who right now IS the better goalie should played until his legs fall off. Your not going to move OEL so give him maintenance days off. Put Boeser, Myers, Pearson on the market and try and get a good D-man and or draft picks. Put Petey on the wing where he belongs and bring up center Karlson and give him a shot as he is playing well (point a game) in Abby. Just sayin'

Say what you will but the Canucks have been in seemingly consistent turmoil and arguably directionless since Rutherford and Allvin came in.
They don’t have a sound NHL defence….that’s not Bruce’s fault….that’s what he was given.
Since the end of last season I have lost a tonne of respect for Jim Rutherford. Repeatedly throwing the head coach under the bus, yet when even lightly confronted with the management's inability to acquire more help on D, said that it is difficult to do. Difficult to do? If it was easy, I guess I could be the president and/or GM of the team and be paid the big bucks. I've said this before and will say it again, nothing necessarily against the signing and re-signing of Miller, Boeser, Kuzmenko and Mikayhev, but that is 20 million dollars towards the cap that they have spent upgrading the forwards, when NOTHING was done in the off-season to improve the D. The priorities of the team was all wrong, and that that is not Bruce Boudreau's fault.

This team is run by Clowns from the top down! Change the coach still the same ring leaders running it! Franchesco needs to sell the team! Also Trevor lidden is a cuck is real life I watch him turn down a hanicapped person when they asked to sign his jersey, funny how those stories never get told just he's amazing 🤣
I hate this, the team is the problem not the coach. Bruce deserves to finish his contract and this team deserves to be blown up. It’s wild this team wants to bring in unproven coaches thinking that will somehow help this team to stop sucking.
Why did we sign an aging JT Miller when we needed to rebuild or even retool. It makes no damn sense. We were so close to getting out of Cap hell. Time for a proper rebuild and tank for Bedard
My take: Bruce liked JT and last year saw him as the emotional leader of the team. Mgmt saw it too, so the signing of JT was an easy sell from top to bottom. Trading Horvat was on mgmt agenda, it means both culture change and good return. Seeing JT’s atrocious play this year vs. Horvats goal scoring has made this all more complicated, and no doubt turned up the pressure on mgmt to do something sooner. At the end of the day, mgmt was never going to sign Horvat; they want to get younger and they want a culture change and with such little in the coffers Horvat is the only one who offers a sizeable return. Studnika was brought in to Center the 3rd line in case they needed to pull a trigger on a Horvat trade, in which case Miller would go up to 2nd line center. Bruce is a fan favorite so mgmt will give him more leeway, but if the team continues to do extremely poorly then he’ll be gone before the end of the year and Yeo will step in. Regardless BB wont be back next year no matter what.

Rutherford sucks so far. Signed big long term contract, traded away a 2nd in a cap dump. Less draft picks, less cap room. But sure it's Bruce's fault

The Wild players were hard on Boudreaux..I have always enjoyed his coaching.but looks like this is a mismatch..this team GM vs Boudreau. So sorry.
#1 – if Bruce was a good coach he would never have been available for the Canucks , just a fact
#2 – management will NEVER blame them selves . The old coaches are hired to be fired thing
#3 -.Canuck management , except for two occasions, has never picked a very good draft choice so the team remains stagnant and underperforms
#4 – until the scouts get off their butts and watch the players and talk to the players for upcoming drafts it will remain a draft pick crap shoot
Just facts , get the Edmonton scouts to do you draft picks . Edmonton seems to pick a lot of future stars for the NHL , take out Bure and the Sedins name two ( in forty years ) Canuck draft picks that have been honest NHL stars
We have so much firepower up front but we can't defend sh!t. If we somehow end up with Connor Bedard, then we don't have to re-sign Horvat…Lolol
Miller will be traded before the trade deadline as his no trade clause takes affect next summer. Money will be there for Horvat. Team will get a 1st round pick for Miller and have 2 picks in a strong draft year in the first round! They weren’t getting anything for Miller so signing him gave them options for a real trade of a highly desired player going into the playoffs. Millers $ value and term is excellent for a playoff bound team.
Demko has been trash 🗑 Boudreau doesn’t 🛑 pucks. It’s the players! Last season they played like 💩 under Green and he gets fired. Bruce is hired and they go on a great run. Same players and coach this season and it’s 💩 again. How can we keep blaming the coaches? Jim Rutherford is washed out and has an ego the size of a cathedral and wants to blame others.
