Its a bad situation for the coach… He is the only one that can be send down without waiving him. Its probably whats gonna happen until one of the dman got injured or got traded. Harris and Guehle playing is so good, you just can’t bench them.
He really clawed his way at an NHL spot and continuously improved, the best outcome I can think off is that we trade Eddy to keep Xhekaj up. I think he could probably learn a lot from an AHL stint but electric players like him have so much value on the team and rewarding efforts and results with a demotion leave a sour taste in my mouth
its the worst thing about matheson returning, you need to take a guy out but none of them deserve it
Tough decision to make, he’s a fan favourite and deserves to be on the team. If he gets sent down I think he will know it’s just a numbers move and not that he doesn’t deserve it.
