I always said LeClaire was being handcuffed in Montreal. His first game in a new club made me a fortune at work. A hat trick to show Montreal how wrong they were about him.

My dad played in a mens tournament up in Nashville like a year or two ago. First game they played a team out of Philadelphia, and he noticed one dude was really good and had some Flyers gear.
Turns out it was LeClair.
My dad played college back in the day, so he’s got pretty good hockey IQ, and noticed LeClair was the guy they needed to shut down. At one point in the game, he’s covering LeClair and tries to pressure the guy with the puck for a split second, leaving LeClair open, and of course he buries a one timer.
Dudes still got it after all these years.
