I really like Anderson's game and hope the Habs keep him in the gold!!!! 6'3" 220# (or thereabouts) power forwards don't grow on trees and his skill set is a valuable commodity in today's NHL…and he can drop the gloves when needed.
Nice to see Hoffman's game coming alive…increases his trade value. I would unload him if possible…keep Anderson.
Oh….and one last thing….Carolina…. how's that KK contract working out for you??? 😁
1G, 2A for $4.8 million/y…sorry…. couldn't resist the dig being the loyal Habs fan that I am. Funny thing is…I think KK would have fit in well with the Habs young core.. unfortunate how that all played out.

Muzzins 5.6 million will be used to go get a top notch D soon. I hope for his sake he can return for the Playoffs and sit this season out. He also needs to think about life after hockey…. He's had some serious injuries sadly

I doubt Anderson is traded to Calgary for the simple reason they don't have any first round draft picks and I don't think Calgary has any players that Montreal would be interested in .

Not sure, as a Sens fan were are a tire fire don’t know what to say anymore 6 years and going to miss the post season. I won’t believe anything they do form now on nothing is going to change
Thanks for another excellent report—man, oh, man, the injuries are really starting to hurt some teams–now, Laine is out and things just keep getting worse for the CBJ, and Muzzin is out long-term and possibly done playing with his injury. IMHO, Bo Horvat is headed to new pastures at the trade deadline, as I don't see the Canucks recovering enough to make the playoffs.
Anderson? If the Habs trade one of their forwards, I don't see them trading Anderson. Why would they do that, he is relatively young and pretty good? Dadonov is probably the forward that they will part way with.
Formenton would fit in well in Calgary. Super fast, PK specialist that can put the puck in the net. If the senators are just going to sit on him all season and let him waste away they deserve to keep losing. Especially with Norris out long term. Could probably get a decent Dman in return. Not that it would help with DJ Smith coaching

I really wished that Montreal traded Anderson when his value was so high last year that it was reported teams were begging Anderson to trade him. But if he can still get a good package (Something like a Toffoli trade except better picks then a conditional 4th and a 5th) back I say ship him out. He is the embodiment of inconsistently, some nights he will looks like a good amongst men and will take over a game better then almost any other player in the league can, and some other night you don't even remember he is on the team because he is so invisible.
Really sad news about Muzzin. Have to wonder if his playing days are over. His long term Health and Family have to come first. The 2 concussions that happened close to each other was bad enough, now this…Hoffman is not a dream come true for Sutter, but can see the Flames acquiring him anyway. CBJ's problems continue to mount, "Murphy's Law" is in full mode. Agree that Demko covered up for a below average D core, but he could only do it for so long. Now it's in full display.

Ottawa should target either Edmondson or Matheson from Montreal, Montreal wants pics and prospects Ottawa needs some stable vets on the blue line , both are easy to fit under the cap and Montreal has too many dmen atm
