Living in Seattle I love me some Kracken! Mass respect to Shisturkin. He a great goalie but I love our team with Schulz, Geekie, Beiners and company. Love Jones in goal. Kracken gonna make some noise this year
On a 4K monitor its hard to even make out what numbers are on the jerseys. And forget about reading the names on the jerseys or where the puck is. Do better NHL.
I wish this recap showed the penalties prior to the goals. Both goals against were power play goals and I can't say whether the penalties were selfish, stupid, or just part of the play. Beniers with two of the post and burakovsky nailing one too along with all the incredible chances give me confidence in the Kraken. Those small misfires/miscues iron themselves out once you hit december-february. Something tells me that third period penalty was likely a selfish one (i.e. that stupid retaliation punch Soucy did against Winnipeg comes to mind) so I say again the Kraken need to stop taking unnecessary/stupid/selfish penalties. All in all great game, glad we walked away with the extra point.
