They have far exceeded anyones expectations. The added grit, and role type players did the trick. Good job by the upper management. The players respect Gallant. He’s a “players coach”. He lets them play, but he skillfully brings out the best in players. He doesn’t embarrass players who aren’t up to par, but he finds ways to let them know. He treats his players like pros, not like kids. He has a firm hand, with a velvet glove. He should be coach of the year. This team has a lot of skill and heart. Unfortunately, their team defense is sorely lacking, probably due to youthful inexperience. They rely on their goaltending WAY too much. They must play more in Carolina’s zone and less in theirs. Quick breakouts, and if there’s no play, just dump it into Carolina’s zone.
Get the puck deep and forecheck the hell out of them!! They must play a heavy game tonight. Bang and bash. I want to see 40-50 hits!!! If they do the above, they will win!!!
Their Slogan should be 'The ComeBack Kids' although they're not all kids.Well compared to my age they are.It really has you believing till the last second that they're always in it.All the pressure is on Carolina who had a better season record and are playing at home.Ya Gotta Believe!!!
