Honestly. Jiricek might not be so bad to give up.

I will be displeased if any of those 3 will be traded

Makes 0 sense for this trade. As a huge Jarmo supporter, I’d definitely start questioning him.

I don’t want Horvat. He’s a 2C and they want 1C assets for him. Not to mention he’s going to want a lot of money. If they aren’t giving us anything decent why would we trade away our future for it?

I know you have to give something to get something, but when you’re talking a potential 1D or either of a (potential) future 1C/2C combo who all fit our timeline for a 2C not in our timeline who is overperforming and will want 1C money, I don’t see the upside on our end, especially with the prospects at the top of the draft

What’s worse – proposals from the other side that take major chunks of our prospect pool or the ones from our side that say Boqvist and Roslovic should do it and that Horvat would sign for 5×5?

If Horvat would sign for 5×5, Vancouver would have lunged at him with pens blazing.

I can’t wait for this to be over. Personally, I think we need to stay away from any trade that is not a contender looking to fill in their roster with Nyquist or Gavrikov. That’s it. Unless for some reason some team really loses their mind and wants to get rid of a true franchise 1C.
