At this moment I don’t think there’s much debate although neither team has really blown me away with the way they’re performing. On a player to player level yes

Maybe. Tkachuk is younger than Huberdeau, and is doing better so far this season, but they also gave up Weegar, a prospect, and a 1st to make that upgrade. I guess Matthew is, for this small sample size, an upgrade on Huberdeau, but they gave up a lot, time will tell whether that was worth it for them.

The flames need Tkachuk and the Panthers need Weegar. It’s a lose-lose
