It was tough to get through the full 45 but i managed somehow. Great work (aside from the adds, you guys are atrocious at it).
Why would any GM in the league throw Dubas a bone right now. The NHL will make the leafs pay for this GMs mistakes.
The chance Marner plays some D against the Devils is pretty good. The Leafs play him there when they are chasing a game and it is too early to pull the goalie. Almost a certainty they are chasing this game in the third.
As for the D. The Leafs have needed a big D man who can bring the pain since they moved on from Polak. Pretty much the entirety of Dubas's time as GM. Now I would be the first to admit that Babcock misused Polak, but it seems pretty clear that Dubas doesn't understand how important a player like that is.
Murphy is a great suggestion but I don't see Dubas bringing him in. Expect to see smurfs one ice.
