I was about to start feeling slightly sympathetic for Devils fans when the third goal got called back, but then they started throwing garbage on the ice and hitting Leafs players. So fuck em, I’m glad we broke their streak on home ice. Same bunch of morons who were chanting for their coach to be fired after the first game of the season.
Anyway, what a fucking game on the ice! Boys must be fired up after that one.

Sheeshers… Devils probably deserved to win that game, but their fans in attendance definitely deserved a loss.
To be clear, the Devils didn’t deserve to win because of the 3 no-goals. Those just weren’t goals, they weren’t taken away from the Devils. They deserved to win because they outplayed them most of the game. The Leafs executed when it mattered, and they held on, so I’ll take it. Breaks the win streak, which is pretty satisfying.
I find it hilarious that the devils fans are claiming they were “robbed” of a win. We have like our what, tenth string defenceman tonight?

The amount of Devils fans on r/devils that don’t understand that the refs don’t make final decisions on disallowed goals is unbelievable. I guess it’s tough trying to figure out the rules, having only become a hockey fan 4 games ago.
