1: cut and dry. Attacking player in the crease got in the way of Murray’s ability to go that way and make a save. Doesn’t matter how much contact there was
2: questionable. The rule on contact outside the crease is iffy, but seems to imply your two options are incidental contact and a good goal, or that he didn’t try to get out of the way and it’s a penalty. Either way, the call on the ice was no goal, and the Devils didn’t challenge because it would have been a double minor if they got it wrong
3: cut and dry. If you kick the puck and it goes in before anyone else on your team touches it, it’s no goal

Devils fans would prefer to just trash their arena rather than think rationally about the no-goals

It happens to every team, including us. Devil’s fans should be happy these all happened in the same game instead of three different games. They’re still on a crazy run right now, the complaining is hilarious.

The only people in the league who think they are controversial calls are Devils fans. Fans of any other team say they are clearly non-goals.
People just can’t fathom that there was 3 instances in one game. Which is understandable… we would have been fired up if it were us on the other side of it.

The worst wrong calls of the game were not giving us the PP for the 2nd goal GI and not giving us a PP for the trash throwing delay. But hey, win is a win

People should not be this lost at those calls. It’s due to the leagues bad/controversial reputation from previous calls and reviews but last night was very cut and dry, you can’t impeded or interfere with a goalies ability to make a save and you can’t kick it in without another player on your team legally touching the puck after the kick. Close the book, that’s that.

Ok now why didn’t the Devils get a penalty for delay of game given the crowd threw garbage on the ice? I’ll take the win though
