Let's see. The Leafs let their starting goalie walk, then signed two backups for the same price they could have paid a proven starter. Yeah they got worse, although I'm sure the Toronto media is already putting Murray's name into Vezina conversations.

I always think they will struggle after every off season lately and they still put up 100+ point seasons. The regular season is never a problem for them, it's that first round that's killing them.

100% worse. All Dubas does is fill or plug holes. He refuses to make a trade that will actually make the team better. His trades are 1st round picks to fix his UFA signings.

I really don’t get the Columbus slander coming from Canadian media. They have one of the best prospect pools in the league, and already way better than the Flyers and Devils like come on, do a little bit of research here guys
keeping freddy and adding two solid 5 mil dmen, instead of jt, would have given us a solid base for a playoff run.
I think it’s important to remember that sometimes a GM – when there is nothing suitable for his team available – then looks for something that he knows another team needs or will need with the hopes of striking a deal in the near future. We don’t know the precise reasoning. Hopefully they are goal tenders whose resurgence the leafs staff can facilitate.
As a Sens fan am I spectacular about our goaltending no but am I ok with it yes. But as a Sens fan we need to have a great start
He may have taken a shot ottawa. As a fan I do admit we are not a favorite destination. Groux I’m happy he’s in ottawa but he could be expired 34 year old and passed his prime. Davrinket he is 2 time 40 goal scorer but you never know he may not score even 20 goals.

Yes the wining the president trophy , it’s a bad things. For example the Avalanche cloud have won the president trophy this year again but chose not to win it and look what happened at the end, they won the Stanley Cup, and Florida got sweep by Tampa Bay .
