As much as we had some *luckier* goals. We won a fucking road game 4-3 instead of going to overtime.
Honestly, I think Sandin is just another glorified Dermott type. He also does not look very good defensively out there.
Liljegren looks solid. If I were the Leafs, I would be trying to package Sandin in a deal for an upgrade on defence.

Not a fan of how the leafs can never get an EN goal. If we’re up 6-5 it’s an empty net goal guaranteed for the other team. Need to work on that.

If Matthews is nursing an injury like some speculate, then it’s a credit to this team that they’re still winning games with a depleted defense and Matthews not at 100%. Having good goaltending helps a ton though.

I actually liked what Sandin was doing there, but he and Lily miscommunicated a tad.
It’s so nice having a goaltender who can reliably bail you out of a mistake or two each game.

Matthews is the biggest issue currently. He cant make a taoe to tape pass. Makes the most money and is invisible most nights. I cant think of a game he was the best player on the ice this year.
Don’t let this win distract from the fact that Murray is a cheating SOB who deserves to be kicked out of the league for what he’s doing to the game. Absolutely despicable.
