Montemgoat has been awesome. I totally wrote him off when we claimed him as a guy that would be right back on waivers in a week but he just kept showing up. It may sound weird but I actively LOVE being proved wrong and hard like that. You develop a special place in your hear for guys that just find a way to stick even though you doubted them at every step.

He’s playing well. Shown steady improvement throughout last year and this. I like his chances of becoming an eventual starting goalie in the league. If not with the Habs, then somewhere else.
