What money do they have for FA? The fans know what the truth is. This team needs to rebuild. By patching and hoping that Krecji comes back, Bergeron age 37 can play at the same level, Marchand can play at the same level will not get it done. They have very little future A level players in the organization. Why postpone the rebuild? Fire Sweeney & Neely, bring in someone that has been in an organization that has had success in a rebuilding. The one I feel bad for is Jim Montgomery. I hope he realize he will be blamed when the B's don't make the playoffs. I see the Sens making the playoffs this year.

Not that I agree with scale of it, but nice to hear a couple hockey guys outside of Chicago that actually understand what is going on there. My go to Bruins duo.
Hate saying it, they need to move Coyle. His contract is killing them. Sending Foligno to AHL saves an additional 1.2m. Left side defensemen are getting 6.5m (Lindholm), 3.6m(grzelcyk), 3m (Reilly), 3m (Forbort). So basically no matter what 3m cap space sits in balcony every night.
The only things fans like less than a re-build is years of mediocre play! If we don't have an honest shot at the cup, Re-Build! Hate to say it, but they should have let Bergeron retire, forget Krejci and move a couple middle guys so they can afford some new blood that can put the puck in the net.

another option could be to talk to teams, that need to get to the cap floor. maybe hula could get you the second round pick you lost in the lindholm deal, and a prospect. definitely could see them trying to move smith and reilly. what would sweeney do, if a club came to him, willing to over pay for carlo? i personally think both the bruins and carlo could use a fresh start. jeff gorton orchestrated the last rebuild. i think charlie jacobs, is running the show more than his father. during their whole tenure, the jacobs family likes "yes men." they had it from sinden all the way down the line to neely and sweeney.they do not like an outspoken coach. the two that come to mine were cherry and pat burns. i brutally despise the jacobs family.just about every marquee franchise in the nhl,has cap issues.

Krejci is a much better player than Kadri.
And he has alot more invested in this organization.
