So it’s official, Bruce is an amazing coach, Rutherford put together a juggernaut of a roster, JT Miller is basically Bergeron now & the Canucks are going for the cup.
Bummer that the Canucks have to be in San Jose tomorrow. I’d say the team’s earned a full day off in Vegas.

At this point, I don’t know if I should be happy or not seeing the Canucks win. The problems of this team do not go away with a big win against two powerhouses of the west… but maybe this buys time for management to make an actual trade that helps, rather than a firesale?

We are still not In the playoff hunt yet. Rutherford is in the works to replace Bruce, probably before the end of the season and Bo is gone already. He is getting traded. We cannot afford him and we will not get a even return on him. And we put ourselves again out of the Bedard sweepstakes. Be happy tonight but be ready to be sad tomorrow. This team has disappointed me so much that there is no real optimism. There is a long time from here to the end of the season. Love the win. Still probably have the weakest defense. Good teams have a good plus minus. When was the last time a team with a minus 15 -20 ever won the cup let alone make the playoffs. Curb your enthusiasm.
