1. Dear Mr. Chik, not sure you'll get this message, but just have to share with you that your program is greatly appreciated, and you are the definitive voice of Rangers hockey. Much love. Just two questions from a novice, first, if there is to be a genuine reliance on the so called kid line this season, why do they have Vesey and Goodrow both on the second line? Why don't they just move the kids to the second line? And also, do you think there could be an under appreciation of the value that Strome had on this team? Most obvious is the connection with Bread, but it just feels, sadly to say, that this present team seems to lack heart and cohesion, which were aspects of Stromers game. Please excuse if this appears irrelevant, but after this loss in particular, it just feels this team is lacking heart. Any comment on this would be greatly appreciated. dan

  2. So let me understand this : Dolan (possibly under Sather's guidance) fires Davidson and Gorton in what we were led to believe were the Rangers in the rebuilding mode , as Dolan /Drury claim the Rangers were far too soft ..
Enter Reeves , Blais (for Pavel ) and Hunt in that off-season … And now here we are slightly past 20 games and Reeves and Hunt are gone – am I to assume the present Ranger team are physical enough to win battle against the Bruins and Caps ? Islanders ? Isn't this the 2020-2021 Rangers all over again ?

  3. Something is off with this team. Hard to figure out what.

  4. IMO conditioning (lack thereof) is playing a part in all the third period collapses. If the Rangers have a conditioning coach they should fire him; if they don't they need to find one fast. Another factor is the horse***t lineups GG comes up with. Good as the kid's line has been, Kakko and Laf should be in the top six, and the bottom six players currently there need to be moved back down to where they belong.

  5. I think the only solution now, as you've said, is to change the line ups. The current go-to lines aren't working and something has to change. I think we peaked at 8th on powerplays this season so far. Start of this game I think they said we were down to 10th (no goals in the last 3 gams) and now this goose egg. Technically Panarin scored which felt like a huge win (the first two periods were fantastic) but that's been washed away/ Quinn was a stubborn mule about not changing lines and if Gallant is the same….

  6. I feel like this team's management is just corrupt. I don't know what's going on exactly but there's no way you bench both Kravtsov and Jones. Like wtf.

  7. At this point even if we make the playoffs ( big if) they are clearly not gonna win anything. So they better not trade away a bunch of high draft picks or prospects for rentals.
