Kinda sick of the Pens and Bruins (And Hawks) being in Outdoor games.
Very happy for Wright. Finish up his AHL stint and head off to the World Juniors Championships camp and tourney. After that perhaps he goes to the OHL. Who knows, by then Seattle might have a spot for him due to injury. Bottom line, he's having fun, playing well and smiling.
They said there is significant damage on the event level and that it is under about 3 feet of water. And they just postponed tomorrow's game as well

I really like both jerseys. Of course people have said that I don't have any fashion sense. I like what the Penguins did and think it looks pretty sharp. I look at the Bruins design a little more closely because that is my team. So looking at the Bruins I see a lot of design elements that remind me of not only past Bruins jerseys but elements of the Celtics and Red Sox as well.
But everyone's eye is different so everyone is entitled to their own feelings and opinions on these.

But the player or in this case Shane Wright is under contract to the CHL team and I understand all the arguments for the player development in the AHL but you can't tell me the CHL team would not love to have him back as well and fill their buildings

Boston jersey so bad it's good, Pens' just bad
To be fair, the B's already used their current 3rd Jerseys for the '19 WC at Notre Dame, granted those were white, but they decided to make a black version the following year. If they didn't have that game against the Flyers at Lake Tahoe a couple years ago, the 1st RR's with the Gold jersey would have been a good uni to use for the '23 WC. Honestly, the B's have pretty much brought back every logo from their past history in the last 15 years. I had a feeling the Meth Bear would be used, after it was brought back on the 1st RR. To see it as a crest is an interesting choice. Not shocked they opted for Black instead of Gold. Saying that, because the B's have so many black unis. They look decent to me, but just have to see them in action first. Maybe they'll eventually grow on people.

I’m just happy the Penguins didn’t go gold as the primary color. These look sharp. The P is a nice font and the cream color is new for the Pens.
I think vancouver should get a winter classic against Seattle in vancouver would only be vancouver's 2nd outdoor game
As far as the concern over an outdoor game in a hot place, the first ever outdoor game between two NHL teams was in Vegas in the 90s. In September, it was 80F (27C). They had some ice issues (Gretzy said it was fine), but the real issue they had were grasshoppers jumping onto the ice and getting stuck.
Bruins jersey is good, do not like Pens logo.
Nashville hosted, Canes about to host in Raleigh, they’re doing what they can as far as outdoor games in the south

A winter classic at Ohio Stadium should happen. The fact that it hasn't yet speaks to how biased the NHL is when it comes to picking teams for this game. They keep doing the same teams over and over, it's getting old and repetitive in my opinion…
I think they will both look better on the ice. Both designs are lacking, but I am in favor of bringing back the Tiger Bear in any capacity. Just wish they were more creative.

The penguins one looks like Nashville's winter classic, just more plain and a big P. The Bruins one kinda fits due to it being at Fenway. I could see that logo representing a college baseball team

One little detail the bruins did well is the Fenway park scoreboard in the collar
The Boston wordmark reminds me of BU's jerseys which makes me like it more. I'm not a BU fan or anything but I think it adds something to have that association bc I'm not normally a wordmark fan

I think the bruins jersey looks great. It’s exactly what I think a “winter classic” jersey should look like.
