They are patient with their development and decisions in drafting and developing their young players as witness tonight and this season. The RANGERS are impatient as are the fans in wanting immediate action and results. Same for GARDEN MANAGEMENT, fans, and msg media. Plus the RANGERS ARE NOT FORTUNATE IN LANDING THE JACK HUGHES OR NICO HISCHLERS OF THE WORLD. So they settle for what is ever available… has to do with ownership as well. Dolan is a moron owner. You see how with patience and getting very lucky in the draft in drafting superstar franchise players who are game changers unlike the RANGERS, who either destroy or have no patience or are not blessed … the results by the red hot flaming super fast Devils are quite evident by this season and tonight’s game results
Right now, the Rangers are destroying most of their young players. Lafrenière, Kakko, Zac Jones, Kravtsov. K’Andre Miller has regressed(Trouba’s fault?). Before that, Lias Andersson(don’t think he was that good. What a waste of a draft choice). It’s sad to see. And Gallant will die with his veteran players.
At my age? A Rag loss is as good as a NY Isles win. I think the NJ Devils & NY Islanders winning is in the best interest of all the hockey fans in the Metro… Get the Rags out of contention early! I love this NJ Devils team! Yes, I’m a NY Isles fan but this NJ team constructed it the correct way & it’s REALLY cool to watch! Rags? Their dependency on Igor (as with Hank) will be their Achilles heel! You can’t expect great netminding to win 82 games and win in the playoffs as well. I like Igor, but he’s getting grounded into the ground! Unfortunately, the days of starting goalkeepers playing 60+ games in a full The 82-game season does not work anymore. Why? I don't know why? It just doesn’t.
No coverage on ESPN+ but Chico was on the radio. Good to see (on the highlight reel) NJ come back from being down 2. I actually don't miss the goon fights on these rivalry games. I'd rather see the skill. Anyone who wants the fights can watch MMA.
