Great road trip for the Leafs, 25 points of a possible 30 in November with a win over San Jose. I know they have lost some games to bottom teams but the leadership is on the same page as the bench and brass and seem to be building a cohesive bond as brothers. It really sux that teams have to face these scumbag media before and after each game. They ask the same stupid questions every time. I would much rather let the players go play the games and have media availability sessions when the come back off a road trip or after the home stand is over. Might not change the dumb questions, but at least the players wouldn't feel they need to rubber stamp their responses.

Great win guys !! Detroit are much stronger than people give them credit for. With the depleted defence the boys all seem to be getting back deep and helping out and makes a better game. Maybe this is a good lesson for them and us as fans. Keep it going boys !!!

The way they are playing reminds me of I think the 2002 post-season when everyone was injured. Gary Roberts and Alyn McCulay carried a team full of hungry St Johns players to the third round. They were great. Then the injured players started coming back and the losing started. I hope they don't rush anyone back. We don't need pinball Brodie scoring goals on our own net anytime soon.
They should trade Marner and his 10 mil cap hit for some playoff caliber help on defense. Mitchy's figure eight brand of hockey has heen utterly useless in the playoffs, and that's all that counts now
