They better use this game as an energizer against the panthers on Thursday

3 tough road games wins and a dissapointing home loss. Ah, well onto next one.

Glad I could just watch this at home and not be trapped in the shit show in traffic 😅

Could just be a bad match-up, tired or banged-up?
But they had a chance to close in on CGY for a wild card aaaanddeyblewiiiiit!
    anyways…onto the next one

Kuz-Petey-Mikheyev line was absolutely dominated 5v5

I’m torn between whether this was a burn the tape game or they’re just back to being the team that sucks a lot.

    Very nice… let’s see Paul Allen’s rebuild

At least experiencing 4 earthquakes wasn’t the worst part of my day.

Tonight on being a Canucks fan. The Canucks came back home after a very successful three game road trip where they beat the defending Stanley cup champion Colorado Avalanche and the Vegas Golden Knights along with San Jose. But these are the Canucks and they are known for building up their fans hope only for them to throw it back in their face. As they took on Washington today bad habits came back. Ovie started the scoring after a terrible turnover by Quinn Hughes then not long after Ovie struck again with a goal that Spencer Martin would want to have back. But then the Canucks got it back. Hoglander cut the lead in half and it looked like Vancouver would make their push but 40 seconds later Washington got it back to a two goal lead and never looked back. Washington takes this one 5 to 1 and Vancouver misses a big opportunity to move into a tie with Calgary for a playoff spot and falls two games below NHL five hundred once more. Vancouver takes on Florida on Thursday. Will Vancouver be able to get back on track or will Vancouver fall back into bad habits once again? We will find out on Thursday.

Was Sportsnet glitching out for anyone else?

It kept cutting out , and replaying earlier segment of them betting on Pettersson to score a goal for me

  10. Just the same old Canucks. Each and every single time they have a chance at getting past something like the atrocious start they had, they have a performance exactly like this.

Didn’t look like they cared, didn’t play like they cared, and the result shows that. Seriously. You win and you’re in a playoff spot. that’s how they perform knowing that? Knowing they overcame the nightmare start and can have a fresh new outlook on the season? This is what they came up with? A lifeless performance? Just so frustratingly typical.

9-11-3 smells like just missing a wild card spot and picking in the 15-20 range..

this team is going nowhere, not good enough to be a playoff team and too stubborn/stupid to rebuild.

Truly don’t understand how this is the same team that beat vegas and colorado. Just endless giveaways and losing track of people in front of the net.

    Canucks got bonked 🐶🦇

  14. elrizzy

Was at the arena and the rink was like a tomb. Just a hard game to watch.

  15. I’m not mad about this loss. One day between this game and last so in a sense this is the canucks 4th road game

  16. Specialist-Idea-5396

Why do we suck like shit at home?

  17. Specialist-Idea-5396

How did we beat the best of the west teams Colorado and Vegas? But shit the bed against a barely performing caps team with a goal hungry Ovechkin?

  18. jackfrench9

Three power plays to one and we out-shot them. Still lost 5-1. Amazing
