The Wild are a team that hasn’t put it together yet. We have seen some sample sizes, all lately which is a great sign. Out of the gate it was horrendous goaltending, then injuries to key players, then inconsistent scoring. Give the young guys some adjustment time and get Greenway ( just returned ) – Hartman etc. back as examples. The Jets / Toronto games were strong, and things seem to be on the upswing. As mentioned previously, we need a string of 8 out 10 etc. The offensive numbers will pick up just need consistency throughout the lineup. Losing Fiala was an obvious loss however, in this trade, our reward will come down the road with Faber plugging in for Dumba. It’s going to be impossible to play at the level of 113 points like last season with so many young guys. Just hoping to trend upwards as the season progresses. With the Evason / Guerin combo the Wild will always be a tough punch out. As
for the defense, let’s stop
blaming Dumba for
every goal etc. While he looks to be on decline offensively, he still is a solid PK D and plays his heart out. Most likely gone with the 6 million dollar hit, but there’s more issues besides just 24. The key will be if 29 can get on a Vegas type of roll. Great show 😄, my escape from reality.
My thoughts on the Wild
To begin with
Everson has not put the pieces together
Yet, when Boldy gets some speed on the wing he will take off namely Dewar
Everson did the same with fiola last year
I have no idea why as soon as Boldy goes second line with Fiala look what happened.
I don't have the Faith in fleur that most
do I do like Gustafson thou.
Are penalty kill is much better because there attacking from the red line
Are power play is better because of Addison
Unless Everson gets his head straight
On line combinations I don't see wild
Going far at all we may not make the playoffs this year as Dallas winnepig
Colorado st Louis are better right now
It's really up to the coaching
Well see what happens
