I’m prepping by already being angry at GG for tonight’s performance
LGR! 100% effort for all 60 minutes especially on defense. Nothing else will be acceptable. Hopefully the new line combos will spark something in the boys. 🍺🥃🍺🥃

Need a game to get back on track. These past few games there’s been zero excuse for their performance. Tonight, they need to get back on track or else it might be the start of a much longer slide. This team CAN play well, we just haven’t seen it in a while.
Channelling game 1 vs Lightning.
Let’s hope our 40 good minutes is better than their 20 minutes
May I offer you all a white pill:
Despite the horrors of this season we are still very much in the playoff mix. Other than the Devils perhaps, nobody else in the tough Metro is out of reach. Slumps happen, and this may be one of the worst we’ve seen recently, but all it will take is some positive juju to finally turn things around. You also have to figure if the expectations weren’t so high coming off a miracle ECF appearance, it wouldn’t feel as bleak.
A good case study would be Vancouver. The wheels fell off that team very early in the season, arguably worse than what we’ve gone through. They managed to turn it around and are back in the hunt. Hockey is weird like that.
I make no predictions for tonight – not sure how much longer the slump will continue. But I can assure you all it will end. Plenty of hockey left to play. LGR.
