  1. Byram is coming back? I thought he was done playing all together! Must have misread something😂

  2. The key issue that GM Sakic was trying to address was physicality and durability, with those moves. I do believe a change of scenery for Jost will help. He's a good bottom 6 player, just doesn't have a ton of offensive upside. These two deals made the Avs better, for sure.

  3. Who is your fav Vancouver or Detroit my buddy and I are having a debate

  4. Jost is probably cheaper than trying to keep Sturm around as far as next year goes is my guess. I would assume we were in talks about trying to sign an extension with Sturm, but this option became available and was preferable for us. Still, the Avs are lucky to be the ones to capitalize.

  5. Can you make a one round fantasy draft where you take the best players to start franchise. I think that would be interesting idea because there is so many great players to build around.

  6. I like those trades, they make a lot of sense and they got the right value, that's what you gotta do, these GMs did a great job

  7. Sturm is so much bigger. The key to the trade is Sturm is 51% at faceoffs and jost is 37%. Matters in playoffs

  8. Giroux? That would be weird, and tbh should you get other pieces than one guy with huge salary? I doubt he will be that impactful, their goalie situation isn't really giving me hopes they will win a title, plus two defensive D's, is that enough..? Yeah I know you can't always get what you want, just saying there has been chances

  9. I do love your fantastic picks like this one. Very interesting trade between two hostile teams.

  10. Sturm is 6'3 208lbs to Jost 5'11" 194lbs. Sturm is bigger. Sturm is also better at the dot 52% to 39%. Jost is rumored to have asked for a trade two yrs ago bec he was getting passed up on the depth chart (and he was). Manson has the playoff experience and has proven to be a hard big bodied hitter having over 250 hits in 2016-17. The Avs need that big body next to a smaller Girard or Byram.

  11. Really sorry for Tyson Jost but Hockey is a business and the players are commodities and treated as such. Good trades for the Avs. Go Avs go!
