garland has been making bad decisions, poor passing and can't seem to win a battle on the boards. it's no wonder he isn't contributing.
It’s hard to blame the personnel. The team just isn’t good enough for prolonged success in 2022. 1985 maybe. The Canucks need a top 4 defensive defenseman or…Doc Brown and a DeLorean.
I like how the Canucks lose one game after winning 5 of 6 and the canuck's fans come out like "see I told you this team isn't good enough" 😂.
Put Pod and Garland on the top lines and they produce. They do not push the offence, they depend on better forwards to carry the play and they pick up the scraps.
The Canucks have too many middle-six, bottom-six forwards, and an overload of bottom-tier D-men. I know teams are not just going to take what we do not want in a trade, but the overcrowding is really hindering the development of young players like Podkolzin and Rathbone. They need quality minutes in a NHL setting to show whether they can consistently contribute at the NHL level. Players like Garland, Pearson, Myers and Poolman should be shipped out to make room for the young guys.

Garland had a streak like this last season too. I've been saying this since we acquired him that he isn't effective and needs to go asap everyday he is here he is losing trade value
