Adams will never make this trade. He won't part with anyone. It took him a year to trade Eichel ! … FYI Chychrun is 6'2" not 6'5" Joe……big boy either way though, very strong and built solid.

My biggest hesitation about this trade is that he is a UFA in 2 years. We could potentially give away a good portion of our long term future for 2 years of a border-line all star defenseman

He’s also had 2 knee and shoulder surgeries a wrist surgery and multiple other surgeries at 24 so how long can he last?

If he can play the Right side sure. Hes got a fair deal right now with 2 -4.6 mill i dont think he will command more than 6 per with his next contract. Hes worth every penny and is an all around good player who can help in all Fassets of the game. For me im Sending Mittlestat Ryan Johnnson and a 2024 1st rd pick and id throw in a 2023 2nd rd pick as a sweetner since they have 3 of them this year. What scares me is for later contracts like power and Dahlin. it is said that they want a Brent burns type trade which is 3P type trade
Trading cozens paterka and a 2023 is laughable. Dallas has been way better and surrounded by vets. Paterka is also a 2nd rounder like roberston and by time hes 23 can probably produce at similar rate. Plus giving up a future selke winner in cozens is how you can assure to not win anything meaningful in the future. lineup of

Would not trade kulich, I think he’s gonna be a special player for the sabres. A Stanley cup contender starts with an elite defense btw
