  1. Please Kraken Tank❗️ Tank ❗️Tank ❗️for Connor Bedard 🙏 I was right ✅️ Kraken's last game to lose if not Philadelphia would have gotten Shane Wright with all due respect RJ and Dylan you guys wanted Kraken to win the last game to leave on a high note, sometimes you have to strategically lose to get closer to # 1 draft pick who would have thought 3 years in the making Shane Wright as #1 then slipped to #4 GO KRAKEN ‼️

  2. Patrick Laine would make a great fit in Seattle he is now not noticed as much look at Matthew's going to Toronto then Laine going to Winterpeg. He would look great in Kraken's jersey best jersey in the League!!! He is invisible in Columbus, where is Columbus anyway???

  3. How about Matt Murray in net for the Kraken trade Phillip Grubier big agile Goalie won 2 cups with the Penguins 🐧 not a good fit in Ottawa. Personally I think Murray is going to Toronto Maple Laughs

  4. Yes Hamburglar to the Kraken to attend net 👏 and see tons of hamburgers thrown on the ice when he gets a shutout‼️

  5. I am surprised at the projected number for Mikheyev. If he is going over 5 or with that term, he is over valued, but I think he might go closer to 4 mil. I would do 4 mil over 4 years if that is where he ends up.

  6. You love to refer to Dom Luszczyszyn… His projection model projects Johnny Hockey to still have $12m value in the 7th year of this contract!

  7. I'm surprised you didn't talk more about Trocheck. I would not be taken aback at all if he gets signed by Francis. But I agree, the Wright factor kind of changes everything.

I have McCann penciled in as the other top 6 left winger along with Schwartz. Trocheck is a former Hurricane; he plays up the middle but might fit on a short deal + maybe Kase on 3rd line. Totally agree on Klingberg and Subban as best bets on right side, 33 is not old for D-men.

  8. I'm hoping GM Ron is very busy working the phone to work out getting quality assets in return for taking on 1-2× vet contract dumps with 1-2 years term on them, ideally players who will also fit really well in helping Beniers, Wright & McCann F wise & R Evans & hopefully Dunn further develop & learn well, or possibly 1× vet contract dump and 1× salary retention middle man for 2 other teams making a trade for quality assets over spending cap in FA on 28-35+ yo vets. Then whether it's now or around trade deadline, hopefully a younger (24/25 yo or under) more likely to be #1 or #2 scoring F or #1 or #2 pairing D man who fits us well & likely timeline for competing could potentially be had for say RW Eberle, assets given up to Sea for taking contract dump/middle man salary retention, and or possibly the extra 2023 Tor 2 Round pick we have (dep on caliber of player we get, possibly also the extra 2023 Win 2 R pick) but no way wanna give up 2023 1 R pick unless we're getting a great, young, 2 way legit #1 D man and pick is min top 8 if not top 12 protected.

Kraken need to be focused on doing what's best for franchise's long term sustained success & timeline of when potential cup competing window hopefully could start opening up, regardless if it means not making a more noticeable or mid tier FA additions and having another difficult season…. As long as young players are developing well, franchise/team foundation, identity, culture, locker room & chemistry are being built, etc, just add who's necessary to help facilitate that on sub 4 mil ideally 3m or less AAV, 1-3 year term. But otherwise be patient, wait for and seek out very beneficial & opportunistic chances to add impact players who fit Sea window 2023+ seasons.

Hopefully end up with natural top 5 pick with great odds at lottery pick in 2023 and make absolute most of that pick (whether drafting 1 of those high end prospects, or getting a King's ransom ×5 of earlier picks & high end young prospects & players for it) & getting more high upside, high skill prospects with rest of 2023 draft picks, and ideally in 2024 still end up having a natural top 12 ish pick so hopefully can add 1 more high impact, top line/pairing prospect before really starting to ascend.

I'd love to see Laine here, but depends on cost (not 2023 1 R) to get him, and how whatever his upcoming new contact AAV & term is relative to his metrics & rumored seemingly bit finicky attitude, etc are assessed.

RH D man Miller I'd prob be OK with signing to a 2 year max 3.25m AAV or 3 year max 2.75m AAV contract if will truly help team to develop, learn to play & execute better, but not more than that with durability issues, as that cap could make difference between being able to afford working a 7.5-9.5m AAV worthy higher caliber player into our plans Vs a 4-6m AAV caliber more mid tier player in next couple years.

Also don't think Dylan Strome should be off the table if AAV & term is right, could consider moving 1 of Gourd, Wennberg or Wright to Wing for upcoming season if that's what most benefits Kraken, and dep how things go next season or 2, D Strome could potentially become a quality trade piece if a fresh start with a HC like Hakstol helps him succeed.

At Goalie, seems like best if not possibly only decent enough option will be to trade for a backup goalie, maybe see what CBJ would require for D Tarasov, or some other decently promising younger goalie who still has 1 ideally 2+ years of waivers eligibility left.

  9. Burakovsky 5×5 as predicted. Gonna RIP IT UP taking passes from Berniers or Wright!

  10. I'm curious what y'all think about what the potential trade & contract cost of getting Tkachuk from Cal might be, if Sea has and or should use assets to acquire him if Cal does in fact decide they must move him or risk losing their top 2 super stars for nothing in back to back off-seasons?

And if we have the opportunity at both, who between Laine & Tkachuk and cost for each would u choose or neither if cost is too high, etc?

  11. “Sorry fans, this is a 1.5 hr podcast” FALSE…these are so great the time flies by. Keep doing great work!
