Yea so thrilled .. p** Mitch doing what he does .. lighting up the regular season waiting to disappear as he has for how many years in the playoffs .. So he got a couple points early in last year's series but disappeared in the end when we needed him like he has for 6 years in a row .. you can have him , he sucks don't give a s*** what he does in the regular season ..

I have been a Leafs fan since 1970 and the concept of team defense has always been something they've had trouble with which would end up making it really tough on the defense Corp and the goalies. With possibly our 3 best defensemen out, Keefe has finally found a formula where the complete team defense concept is working…Mete and Hollowell on a pairing basically doing a great job, the swedes are awesome and Giordano and Holl are really solid, it's a basic no nonsense approach with the forwards helping big time. If the goaltending keeps it up, this team is super dangerous. I don't need to comment on the offense.
unselfish play, looking out for teammates,…as much as I am a Hurricanes fan and want them to win the Stanley Cup….I believe the Maple Leafs will be in the Final. Inspiring play. great video
To answer Steve's question , PLAY THE MAN, not the puck. Last year there were too many fans calling for better defense. Tie up the guy in front of the net and let the goalie do his job. This was a good solid game win. And Steve…he just seems to get better with each LFR.

They need to keep the patch for the remainder of the season. Makes no sense to me that they're retiring it already.
Steve Dangle is an absolute idiot along with 2 other clowns. The guy did a whole video dedicated to trading Marner and firing Keefe because Marner had one bad game. His clown panel agree Marner simply can’t handle playing in Toronto. Meanwhile Matthews stats were worse but no mention of that.
I had the same reaction as Steve at "lip lettuce".
The best part of Mitch's streak is that at the start of it, he was playing some of the worst hockey I've seen him play and around game 9 or 10 he decided "I'm going to start playing really well now"
Big win all around. Samsonov coming back from injury and putting up a gem, Marner extending the point streak and Matthews scoring. Love it.
Personally, I think they should have left the Borje patch on for the rest of the season (and playoffs) as a dedication to Borje as well as a reminder to the players how Great players play. Borje was a Leaf in an era when the team wasn't that good, but with that patch, it's kind of like having him there in spirit. It's a great way to continue to pay tribute to Borje as well as giving the team something to rally around on their journey to the Cup.
I wish they keep the Reverse Retros for more games this season. Also if they need an alternate, I really think they can take inspiration from this jersey and have it be a classic style alternate.
I really want them to use the patch all season. I dont think they should retire it. Like the islanders did last year. It seems weird to retire the reverse retro also, like they wore it twice, and the patch obviously #KeepthePatch
You need a LW for the rest of the season? Make a trade with CHI for Max Domi. He's only $3M AAV and can play LW/C so very useful in your top 12 as well as PP. Trade Kerfoot to free up a spot and $3.5M cap space.
