16% from 3. This is the problem. Not because we don't have 3 point snipers, but because we're putting too much focus on shooting 3's. I get the NBA's focus nowadays is the 3 ball, but I don't need every team needs to be a great 3 point shooting team.
our team in particular i feel would do better if they didn't focus so much on 3's and focused on getting 3's the old fashioned way or focus more in the midrange game. the only 3's they need to worry about is closing out on the opposing teams 3 point shooters. that and play TEAM DEFENSE and HUSTLE. play like you want to be out there. play with some passion. don't rely on only your energy guys for it, it all starts with playing like you want to be out there and want to win.
i've also really disliked how the bulls try to shoot their way back into games by shooting the 3 ball too much. instead they should go hard to the basket, move the ball around and get high percentage midrange shots or close shots at the basket when possible. aka, PLAY THROUGH VUC!
This was an embarrassing game to watch. I didn't see much effort and the way they look is like a play in team.
Damn Kendall Gill and Will Purdue. I remember those guys from the 90s, Will in Chicago and Kendall in Charlotte. And yeah, Michael Jordan is the GOAT.
Look at the way Booker scored quick and within the offense vs how Demar scores (Iso ball). The Bulls need to trade him and let Pat and Ayo loose and play with pace
The Bulls gotta keep it simple. Play through Vooch and go from there. He can make the game easier on offense. And then give more consistent effort on defense.
You see the paint point scoring yet the Bulls kept going elsewhere…so annoying that this is constantly a critique of this team.

For real, being outrebounded will doom a team. My suns in the finals got outrebounded by a tall Milwaukee team, and that was the difference maker in games 4,5,and 6 in the finals. Deandre Ayton's newfound excellence is directly related to his aggressiveness getting to the glass, both on offense and defense. He has had 4 straight double doubles. I love vujevic and believe bulls should feed him more, he is a more important player than demar becauee he also rebounds more and provides paint protection.

Zach Lavine got his money and now has checked out mentally. Supposely hes the leader of the team. everything was built around Zach last season, the Vooch trade was ment to bring him help the season prior. Bulls fans were delusional the last 5 years thinking Zach Lavine had crappy players around him and needed help, are the same fans that are having buyers remorse seeing Wendell Carter and Lauri flourish. Zach just does not make anyone around him better, Bulls are better off building around Demar at this point.
