Still think we got goalied. Allen had a good game.

  2. RandyBobandysGut

For the love of god fix the powerplay it’s hard to watch.

  3. Suzaku94

Honestly all of this is because they teased Scorch and didn’t have the balls to go through with it. Now look what you’ve done!

  4. itoadaso1

Jason LaBarbera post game press conference?

  5. xThunderstruck33x

Don’t worry guys we will start winning when we play the bad teams I’ve been told. The strength of schedule has just screwed us, everything is fine.

At this point of the season, Markstrom’s body of work is pretty damning. Not sure how you can keep rewarding sub .900 performances.

Time to see if Vladar can carry the weight for a bit.

    And yes…goals would help too

  7. NonstopSuperguy

Yeah, Vladar starts forever now, and Phillips needs to be called up ASAP.

  8. Bigasspikachu

That was just a goalie difference. Id say its more cause Allen played so well but Markstrom needs to be way better too

  9. Worst fucking games where we outshoot em by x2 amount outchance em whatever but still lose by one goal fuck!!! It’s the goddamn Flames signature

  10. thickestdolphin

We could call up Phillips or Zary, but look out for an incoming Rooney

  11. Joelerific

Honestly there’s lots going wrong right now, but for me the team is just boring to watch without Monahan, Tkachuk, and Gaudreau. Losing three of our most exciting drafted talents of the past decade in an off season really changed the team for me.

  12. GrafNebelgeist

    Just tossing away points, man.

Can’t believe that first goal Markstrom gave up. It’s just ridiculous.

This team has zero fucking finish. Horrible to watch.

  13. We didn’t score enough . But man Marky made some absolutely backbreaking decisions

  14. thraxinius

Forwards can’t score on 4 different power plays, on 40+ shots or on a 3 on 1.

Markstrom made a few gaffes but this forward core can not finish for the life of them.

  15. marveldcomnibus9

At least the Flames are good at one thing, making bad goalies look like they are playing at a Vezina level.

  16. Appropriate_Shape833

Former Flame Monahan had more points than any current Flame.

  17. BlindMuffin

If Sean Monahan was on the Calgary Flames he would be **second** right now in points

  18. Duck_Caught_Upstream

That loss is 100% on Markstrom, I don’t want to hear shit about how he is competitive.

Sliding out to the blue line for no reason in the first.

Then getting into it with Andersson on a fucking icing. If you’re going to stir shit up you better at least back it up on the penalty kill that you fucking caused.

It’s Vladar’s net as long as he deserves it

When your leading scorer has 16 points and ur starter has like an .879sv% you know ur having a really *really* rough fuckin season

    gOaLiED

Yeah our expected goals was >4. Yeah Allen played really well.

But Markstrom made 1 (?) good save, was responsible for both goals against and had another sub .900 night with negative GSAx.

    gg

  21. rye_by_night

Goddamn I hate saying this because I like Markstrom a lot and I do think he is going to turn it around this season, but holy fuck bench him and run Vladar. The Flames aren’t in a situation to drop points hoping our starting goalie remembers how good he is.

  22. moth_hockey2

Kadri has not been sharp in about 3 weeks. Really sloppy puck touches and reads. Soft on puck too

My just be my confirmation bias but teammates look like they’re starting to get frustrated

  23. Visotto1

« I suck at hockey right now » – Jacob Markstrom.

You can argue with me. But can you argue with him?

  24. TwoDimensionalCube83

Give Wolf some experience and have Vladar as the starter.
