Hi John) Oilers fan here. If they keep Nurse, and somehow manage to keep Kane, then some players here now, as well as some prospects are about 99.9% guaranteed to have to be moved. Given a choice between Yamo and PJ, I'd keep PJ. 2 years from now and this kid has a really good chance to blossom into a full really productive top 6 player. If Oilers can't keep Kane, or if they move Nurse, I don't think Holland will want to move JP (or Mcloud). The real danger for the Oilers right now imo, is that if Holland can't really work some magic in the offseason, the Oilers will regress, and perhaps even badly regress. IMO)
Now would be a good time to trade him, sadly he didnt work out that well with edmonton but many times trades can be good for a career, new fresh start.

Jessie is not a finisher… his points are next to Connor and Drai…. on a less skilled team he has fewer points and is more exposed offensively IMO. He is a complimentary player… not an initiator. He certainly has value…. but not a 4 million a year guy unless he shows more soon. Strictly my opinion.
If he wasn't a 4th overall pick he wouldn't still be in the NHL! Once he gets moved from Edmonton he will eventually disappear from the league.
