    I see the importance of rotating in the spare players to keep them game ready but I had hoped we would see a different depth option other than Simmonds. There are a handful of Marlies who are playing well enough to have earned a look. Hopefully we will see a couple of them skating with the big club at some point.

    Leafs are quietly going on an impressive run. They've done this before but there's something more legit about this time around. I'm not going to jump through hoops but this team is really playing responsible hockey all around, especially in their own end. They're not the run 'n gun team in the past anymore but they also allow a lot fewer goals. This type of hockey is sustainable for the playoffs and for long term success. GLG!!

    Hedman, at 31, has the points of a 3rd pairing D. Every year you win the Cup, you lose a few players to overpaid elsewhere. Also, Stamkos is 32, peaked 10 years ago. Tampa approaching Pittsburg, Chicago, LA, Washington territory. Toronto is one Chychrun away from a 4-year dynasty.

    That's BS that this is just a regular season game. These guys have memories like elephants. You'll see retribution. They just don't want to say it, so they won't get heavy suspensions when it does break out.

    I love Simmonds. Was pissed that they only played him in 2 games last playoff round. Coach basically didn't see any use for him, so why you putting him now and against Tampa? I don't get it. I'm glad to see him in , however considering how he ditched him last year against Tampa I just don't understand why now against Tampa?
