Frost needs to go. And I’m not impressed with Beezer either
Good hard fought loss
They took a lot of shots. Don’t do any good if they’re right at the goalie or completely miss the net
65-12-5 is still on the table
Hughes spun Provy like a beyblade.
That’s the best I’ve seen the Flyers look with an empty net in a long ass time.
Losing because you’re less talented is easier to accept than losing because you made dumb plays and mental mistakes.
Well. At least we didn’t give up 3 ENers 🙃
Gimme them L’s baby!
Hit another 10 gamer.
The Philadelphia tank commanders
Good pressure with the empty net but mistakes continue to plague this squad.
I barely remember their 3rd goal but those first 2 shouldn’t have happened. If they didn’t turn it over it’s possible they would’ve won. Turnovers are a killer and keep happening at the worst possible time
So two things:
1. We owe Tony deangelo an apology. Dude isn’t nearly as bad as this sub made him out to be.
2. Is Frost good at anything?
I swear to got al morganti, JJ, jonsey, and my hope that torts may eventually get a talented roster are the only thing keeping me on
Was hoping for the dub cause fuck the devils but this is good for the tank so not too upset
It’s unfortunate that we have to use effort as the only metric to evaluate this team. Shitty team that’s playing hard. A real “You played your best, but your best isn’t good enough.” situation. Kinda depressing. But, hopefully, one day we’ll be a better team and maybe this standard of effort will match the talent we have on the ice as well.
This team looks so much faster with both TK and Laughton back in the lineup. Disappointing loss, but that’s refreshing to see.
14 sims and we got Bedard – We can do better.
“We played our ass off” refuses to elaborate. leaves.
Torts not happy

Can’t lose ten in a row again without losing the second one
56 second post game interview by Torts tonight 😂 love how he calls out the dumb media questions
I think what Torts is proving is that, *even when we’re firing on all cylinders*, we’re simply not talented enough or deep enough to win games against competitive teams. There was effort and conditioning concerns last year and the year before, but not this year, and we’re still not able to score with any consistency.
The fact is, most games will end up like tonight’s or our recent game against the Islanders. Yes we compete, they’re definitely *trying*, but unless the other team comes out flat (like the Isles did 2 games ago), we don’t have the talent or skill to score enough.
We’ve been saying this since last season, but we were assuming that compete level was not the main thing preventing us from winning – this season proves this theory correct, and that Fletcher has misguided faith in the players we have here and now.
Yes, injuries hurt us, but is a returning Coots going to be a Selke caliber player? Is Cam Atkinson really going to make enough of a difference? JVR? Ellis is irrelevant.
Due to a democratic decision from here, I’m going out and hope I’m luckier than the Flyers.
Love everyone of you!
I’d like to see Frost get sent back down and they bring up Anisimov, Foerster, or Wisdom. Dude is just a constant liability out there and it appears he lacks the skill to play at this level. I know that leaves him vulnerable to being claimed off waivers and we could possibly lose a body but wouldn’t that at at least take a contract off our plate? Armchair GM’s what’s your take?
The Devils’ talent bailed them out of this game for sure. We had *way more* offensive zone time than we deserved and the Devils had 12 SOG through 2 periods. That’s insane. We were the better team through 2 periods and we come away with the L because of 2 **really** stupid turnovers by Provy and Seeler/Hart.
There were a lot of things to like about this game, especially with who we played against.
The fact that an expansion team in their 2nd year can win 7 in a row and we can’t even get two in a row says a lot.
Fire Chuck Fletcher.
