Looks like like all that 3v3 practice didn’t pay off. What the actual FUCK Auston???

  2. AduroPinquis

I’ll take the point after a game with that reffing on Bolts home ice. But man, I used to be excited to watch the Leafs in 3 on 3 OT, not anymore.

  3. goodvibesonlyGLG

Bruh at what point is Matthews not allowed to start in OT anymore

  4. Randytherobot12

    Have possession ✔️
    Give away ✔️
    Other team scores ✔️

    Yep a leafs overtime loss.

  5. senile-animal

Cracked a new beer for OT. Didn’t even have a sip before it was over 🙁

  6. ProgramFrequent6947

Death, taxes, and the Leafs losing within the 1st minute of OT

  7. makeitsnow

Glad we got the point, glad Marner kept his streak going, but these guys have to stop no look passes in OT…

  8. oh5canada5eh

That was a stupid turnover (just like every other OT we go to) but holy moly can we get a save in OT, PLEASE?!

  9. disco-drew

Distinct getting your feet kicked out from under you motion.

    Entertaining game though!

  10. CMDRShepardN7

I’m not that mad tbh. It was a good 60 minutes.

    Minute 61 however…

  11. billybobsingh

Anyone else see the turnover and starting laughed knowing it was over?

  12. bobbadoo

time to start kampf, engvall, gio in OT now

  13. The_Bread_Sorcerer

We have lost OT the exact same way every single time lol

They get the puck and go to make a no look soft pass, turn it over, and the other team scores on their first opportunity.

Murray HAS to have that though, Jesus Christ.

Anyways, good game, happy for marner and I’ll take the point – hard fought point with every call going against us.

    On to the next one!

  14. whatamidoing_2521

I’m not surprised they lost in OT again.

I am a little taken aback that it was off of a nothing play/shot though.

  15. sluck131

How have Leafs not figured out that possession is the most important thing 3 on 3.

STOP MAKING RISKY NO LOOK PASSES

  16. B0_SSMAN

I was actually excited for those 10 seconds of OT before Matthews decides the puck should go to a Lightning player.

Just post the post-game thread as soon as regulation ends at this point. Unfathomable how awful they are in OT.

Trying not to let the predictably deflating ending take away from a great game by Marner. He didn’t just set the record tonight, he absolutely put his stamp on the game.

  18. frmacleod

I didn’t watch OT so I wouldn’t have the visual memory of another OT loss. This is what it’s come to with this team 3 on 3.

I used to love this core in OT.

  19. XPhazeX

My saltiness for OT is only nullified by the streak

  20. Agathor23

Wish our Salming patches were not gone already he deserved it for the remainder of the season.

  21. bravoleafs

That pass by Matthews is unacceptable.

  22. TheCarrier89

Fuck it, start Gio, Kamph and Nylander next OT

  23. micatola

They should just play overtime to a draw and take their chances in the shootout. Other teams just sit back and wait for us to fuck up. We should do the same. They really need to stop playing so aggressive when there’s so much ice.

  24. GoatStimulator_

There hasn’t been a game that badly officiated since the playoffs

  25. plainnoob

Does the VP of officiating often give gifts at awards ceremonies? I know the Lightning must be used to receiving gifts from that department by now but come on.

  26. 1337duck

    Awful OT streak continues!

Leafs can learn some tricks from the Lightnings on how to run « interference but not interference ».

Also, how the fuck was there no penalty on the hold of the decade by Hedman, on the JT no-goal? No goal was obviously, cause it was a clear kick. But how the hell did the refs not see that hold before hand? Or even during the scrum when he got hauled down?
