Dadanov’s best game as a Hab. Matheson was great, so was Dach. 17/91/20 were bad. So was Caufield. Edmundson needs to be better. Overall the boys played well 5v5.
Habs need to be more disciplined. We win that game without the dumb 2nd period.

Superb hockey game. A monster game from Xhekaj. When he at his best like tonight it’s easy to forget he is a rookie. At his peak he will definitely be a top 4 dman no doubt in my mind
Of all the losses in Alberta I’ve watched, that one wasn’t too terribly hard to stomach considering the context of this season. Xhekaj is just such a pleasant surprise this season and Nick Suzuki is really showing the league that he is a tier 1 player.
Also that SN pbp guy is an absolute oddball and I love it

We gave EDM an absolute gift of a win tonight. So many penalties and giveaways even though I thought we controlled the play.
Those edmonton commentators suck they aren’t even biased they’re just straight up bad
MSL needs to set an example. Some people need to be scratched for the next one. It’s one thing to lose, but they essentially handed this game off. Taking shitty penalties will not help you.

I still think the reffing was suspicious. Dach didn’t trip McDavid and while I agree that Edmundson deserved the penalty, it did not warrant an ejection. They also missed other stuff that I can’t remember.

Yes it was mean, but from the angle I saw his stick gets under the shoulder pad of Hyman, does not make contact with the head.

Solid game for the tank + Suzuki, Xhekaj, Dach, and Slaf all get points. Really impressed with Xhekaj, don’t think he should be rotating anymore personally. Maybe send Harris down to play big minutes in Laval until we trade Edmundson/Wideman/maybe Savard.
Also glad to see Dadonov and Armia play well – if we can get a pick (3rd? 4th?) for each at the deadline without retaining salary and call up Ylonen and RHP, that’d be ideal. Anderson too, don’t think his value will get any higher and we have young wingers coming up next year (Farrell, Heineman). Excited to get some fresh legs in young top/middle-six wingers.
