I wonder how the current set of players would react to something like this
I loved and hated Torts. His benching’s and line juggling for minor mistakes was frustrating. However, his no nonsense attitude was refreshing.
Torts was awesome on 24/7. Dan Bylsma also struck me as a good coach but partly because Bruce was so awkward.
This is what this team needs right now. This fucking Barney approach to hockey where everything is great and everyone loves each other is pure bullshit.
Sit some of the fucking star players and send a message that no job is secure and you EARN your ice time. That’s it. Period. Ended.
Why do I picture Gallant in a similar situation just sitting down and sighing, « What should we do? »
I think gallant goes into the locker room and starts laughing and in a soft voice says you guys need to start playing better and walks out
To this day, when my kids are fucking around when it’s bath time I yell out “LETS FUCKIN SCREW IT ON STRAIGHT HERE!” and it works every fucking goddamn time.
