Thrilling win for the bolts. There were a lot of momentum swings in that game. Vasi was excellent, powerplay is deadly (except for the shortie), and Cirelli had an excellent return. Also, how are the leafs so bad in overtime? Lightning had two forwards from the 2nd and 3rd line out against their top 2 players and still the leafs lost in 33 seconds. Kinda fitting that the last two lightning leafs games in Tampa ended with the bolts winning 4-3 in overtime on terrible plays by Matthews. Strong start to the home stand, we got Detroit next. Let’s go bolts!
Marner was really good and got 19 pts in a row. What was Matthews thinking in overtime passing the puck across to Sandin, would have been much better to wrap it around the boards where Marner would have picked it up
When your #5 in defence vs 5 on 5 that's fantastic to promote ina city like maybe Minnesota but in a City where the players are "let's be kind here so not to rattle the baby cage" paid to PRODUCE on a nightly basis. You want cheap talent then have Gary Leeman on your roster. These guys and I think even MORE the higher ups need to be held accountable. The Teacher's Union can only pay so much 🤣
