I disagree with almost everything he said. The team didn’t play harder tonight. Team actually looked worse than yesterday. I think he’s gotta change some game plan stuff

He has the nerve and gumption to say we played harder and faster than the other night? You mean to tell me a game that you were losing three nothing and never had a chance that you played harder and faster than a game you lost in overtime? What game was he watching tonight? He absolutely shows no urgency and if you watched him on the bench during the entire game he showed no emotion didn't speak to the players whatsoever and it is definitely time for a change and if they want to save the rest of this season before it's too late, make the change tomorrow and I don't care who you bring in but you have to have a different coach for Monday night

Gallant is known for protecting his team, but this is the breaking point. At least throw something on the floor. This team needs a major shake up. Chemistry is not there!
Come on. Drury wake up!! Same Excuses! After being a rangers fan for 53 years last season was a fluke unfortunately! I and many rangers fans were looking forward to this season. What a bummer it's been, time for a coaching change!
Anger is NEVER a way to win, the message sent to the team is a sin! Ice hockey when played correctly is an art NOT a WWF fight on skates.
When a team sinks to doing nothing but fights and hits, you have no 2 way player skill set.
The message and style of play this organization sent has destroyed the chemistry and the potential 2 way skill set of the entire team.

Team is toast. Fire Gallant. Fire Drury. NYR is one of the richest NHL teams of all. There's no reason why we shouldn't have the best talent.

Clearly the answer is to play Zibanejad and Kreider for 40 minutes each game because they've been so effective.
This team is destined for failure because the last piece of "Residual Root Rot" from last season still exists, and is making all the decisions for this team the GM Drury.
Drury should have been fired along with: JD, Gorton and Quinn.

He says he was happy with the team's chances tonight. The way I see it his team had no chance tonight .. they were down three nothing before you could take a breath.. what he should have said, is that we did have a positive tonight and that is that we didn't blow any lead tonight like we did the last several home games especially in the third period..

Without a 2 way potential skill set 1st you will never learn how to play ice hockey correctly and you certainly CANNOT compete without a 2 way skill set 1st.

Tough game! But when do you put some blame on the players??? These guys…except for a few …did not put out!!! AGAIN!!! Blame the coaches…blame the GM…BLAME YOUR PARENTS!!!! IT'S ON THESE PLAYERS TO PLAY!!!!
The way the season has gone is far from being Gallants fault. its the way this team is constructed, and the fact how laf and kakko have not been wat most 1st round picks have turned into, have killed the rangers. we pay 11m for a 30 year old winger who doesnt perform like an 11m a year player; we have medicore bottom depth hockey players. we ultimately dont even have a legit top line. kreider has regressed from last year and is getting older. the blueline is a mess; we pay 8m for Trouba who can barely defend. on top of that, we lack decent 7d spot. i can go on and on

The coach has to provide the strategy and tactics necessary for success. I see SFA in the way of that from GG. Either GG hasn't got a plan for that; or he has a plan but can't communicate it to the players; or the players aren't listening, or don't buy into his plan. Which means he is not effective as a coach. Which means unless he finds a way to overcome the problem, he needs to be replaced.

Always smirking away after every loss! Gallant comes out with so much crap. I'm all for positivity but don't make it out like we played well after every loss, because we certainly haven't!
