Hankinson has spoken with half a dozen teams since being given permission to speak to teams.
Believes boeser will be playing elsewhere before the end of the season.
Believes this is also likely for bo horvat.
JT Miller and his agent have not spoken to MGMT about change of scenery. Wants to stay on board.
Thinks it’s not an « if » but rather a « when » in terms of coaching change (obviously)

I would take the JT comment with a grain of salt. He doesn’t have trade protection this season so he will want to stay here. He gets to control his own destiny next season.

The agents can say whatever they like to Lebrun , the GM will do what’s best for Canucks,.

Interesting how the organization really wants to keep Horvat but they haven’t started contract talks at all. Not a single discussion.
If they’re waiting for Horvat to cool off then oh boy that’s a recipe for disaster. They might just run out of time.

Not all that relevant, but saying « I thought the Canucks would be a bubble team, and I was right since they’re 4 points out of a playoff spot » is pretty disingenuous – they’re below .500, a bubble team is not below .500. They’re on pace for 75 points which would miss the playoffs by 20 points at least. Expectations were for this team to be around 95 points by most models/predictors – the team has obviously far underachieved and it’s ridiculous to say « well this is what everyone expected. »
