You just HATE to see Binnington give up so many goals /s

  2. JesusPitt

Can’t wait to see the practice lines on Twitter tomorrow that have Kreider and Vesey back on the first line smfh, hopefully instead of just a “wake up call” for Kreider they actually keep him on the third line

  3. NSNSprite

Great 3rd period response. We won a must-win game. This can be snowballed into something sustainable, I believe it. Let’s see what the kids do with Zib, throw Chytil on with Vesey and Kreids when he gets back, and roll arguably four solid lines.

  4. blueline7677

Trouba was pretty great imo our best defenseman tonight. Followed closely behind by Miller. Lindgren Fox gave up too many chances right in front of our net tonight

  5. If Laf and Kakko don’t stay with Mika I stg

  6. SportingWallaby

They still looked like garbage. Only won cuz binnington is butt trash. They will be routed by the isles next and the wheel of mediocrity will continue to spin until goofus is fired

  7. JagrsMullet90

Great hustle, great fire from the boys. Like everyone else,I I really just wanna believe that we’re back.

    Lines gotta stick
    13-93-24
    10-72-74
    20-16-21
    91-76-12

Just fuckin leave it alone and go get a fuckin coffee Turk

Edit: I know Chytil is out just saying

  8. UsedToBeBradfordTwo

If we are gonna keep GG around, you at least have give him a mandate to at least keep the same lines for more than one damn game straight. Players need more consistency and less tinkering and they should be demanding it at this point

  9. Krispyford

This team can absolutely go on a tear and start piling up wins. They just need to get their heads on straight. There’s so much talent that’s just not performing right now.

  10. DeityRose918

Welp my Gameday ritual until the rangers stop playing is no jersey on Gameday and keeping the Snapchat rangers fit

  11. billy-lee-bill-lee

can they play binnington every game lmao

  12. the_mair

Much needed win with a tough schedule coming up. Hopefully they can keep the momentum going.

  13. Da4RealDeal

Goddamn it feels good to get a win, especially a home win haha. Feels like an eternity since we last saw the 3 stars of the game skate out lmao.

Also a bit frustrating that we’ve been screaming from the rooftops that the kids need to get top six minutes, and Laf goes out and gets a goal and an assist in his first few shifts on the top line. Shit should’ve happened weeks ago, I hate how much GG drags his feet about shaking up the lineup lmao. It’s been obvious to the fans for weeks that the roster construction wasn’t working, why did it take so long for you to adjust, Gerard??

  14. TerriblePigs

If this team plays every game like they did in this 3rd period, there’ll be confetti flying on Broadway in June.

  15. jtlimbo17

The defense was straight up traffic cones in that second period; you could see the PTSD in Henrik’s speech during the 2nd intermission.

Not trying to take away from the win, but the blues played poorly in that 3rd period.

Kudos to the boys for capitalizing, but those first few minutes of the 3rd they came out pretty flat again. It kinda feels like a better team would have completely shut them down.

I’m glad they grabbed the dub, but there’s still so many problems.

And Vegas, in Vegas, is gonna be an extremely tough feat.

  16. Tommybrady20

Hey well we’re all ragging on binnington if shesty brings us a cup then plays exactly like this binnington for a decade I’ll be nothing but grateful and ask to raise his jersey to the rafters

  17. Envelopen

Kinda liked the laf zib kakko line wouldnt mind seeing more of that for a few games before gallant makes any moves back

  19. iiKrOna

I didnt watch a single second of gameplay we go again vs Vegas

  20. KeernanLanismore

Just hope Gallant keeps Mika Laffy Kappo together.

  21. TheIncredibleHork

I am very happy to have sacrificed my fantasy hockey team with Binnington in goal for tonight’s win.

Here’s hoping we keep 13-93-24 on the top line.

  22. I said in the day off thread yesterday that when chytil comes back id like to see a first line of laf-chytil-kakko, but after tonight id 100% fuck with a line of laf-zib-kakko.

Enough of watching everyone else’s prospects develop and flourish in top roles. Get laf and kakko up there and keep em up there growing pains and all. Give em top minutes 5v5. They’re the future and the vets clearly haven’t been getting it done this season.

  23. kingfarouk

Very relieved with the outcome, let’s hope we can keep the same mojo going to the next game and let’s get some huge wins coming up! Love everybody and LGR!

  24. UsedToBeBradfordTwo

If Braden Schneider got significant PP time I really could see him being a guy like Shea Weber who’s potting 20+ piss missiles

  25. FoghornLeghorn99

Crazy that not having a career 4th liner and a weak 5 v 5 player with your 1C results in more chances and a better offense. Just shocking!

Giving the young talent seasoned talent to play with helped them? Even more shocking!

That line fucking swarmed and dominated. My biggest fear is GG moving Kreider back because he just has to and breaking lines up.

Don’t touch anything, just put Chytil back when he is back, that’s it, leave everything else alone.

  26. PhillyJ739

Can’t wait to see everyone back to negativity after Wednesday. We beat a team that looks even more out of sorts than we do with an atrocious goalie to boot. Good that we got the win, but we move.

  27. groovystreet40

That’s a great win, they needed that. I’m not buying into a turnaround just yet unless they go and beat both Vegas and the Avs, but still that’s a gutsy win.

  28. HumbleBJJ

We better see Laf-Zibs-Kakko on Wednesday again.

  29. geesusway

Good. That’s one less loose end.

  30. Grouchy-Power-806

I can watch the Celly on kreids goal all night. He looked so relieved.

  31. Grouchy-Power-806

Aww kreids giving Kakko and Laffy some positive words in his post game interview when asked about Laffys gwg.

  32. darkgrayallalone

Please keep that line with Mika and the kids together

  33. Stand_up_Philosopher

My first thought after the game was that if GG breaks up the Laf/Zbad/Kakko line in our next game, he should be fired and left behind the MGM Grand.

After thinking about it though, I’ve changed my mind.

The MGM Grand is too nice, that Linq would be more suitable

  34. Midnight_java

If Gallant favors his job he’ll keep Mika with the kids next game.
