My flair is clear on my feelings towards the refs. But holy fuck. No goalie interference calls on w of the goals. And baby shit soft calls given to the Penns. I don’t think it could have been more blatant.

That was 60 minutes of pure garbage. Larsen just can’t seem to stop making horrible coaching decisions
Here’s the thing, it’s not just that Brad isn’t a very good coach, it’s also that he doesn’t like our younger players.
You can’t shelter them forever! They have to play big minutes eventually.
That was just genuinely embarrassing.

I don’t know what you do with Jack. He has always had issues sustaining motivation and I feel he’s having a hard time hiding how checked out he is this year. Brad is a milquetoast coach and I’m just tired of losing and a majority of our games being borefests
We have everything we need to be successful. Elvis played fine. Korpi plays fine. Our defense had gotten better. We have great offensive possibility.
So what do we do? Play the worst defensive players the most minutes (not you Gavy), give our offensive powerhouses minimal ice time. Pull our goalie when he’s having a good game. Switch up the lines. Play Jack Roslovic when you have a perfectly good selection of SEVERAL others.
How demoralizing for the players. I still think Elvis needs work, but he gave a great effort tonight. And why the fuck are we wasting MARCHENKO
At this point we need to be making calls to see if anyone will take Elvis, and whether Larsen fits in the fucking cannon
Terrible game. 1st was good, after that it was an absolute train wreck. The refs definitely didn’t help, but that loss is definitely on the team. Elvis played great (aside from the last goal), but other than him the team was flat out bad.
One day Sidney Crosby will retire and the Penguins will be a bottom feeding organization. One day I will die and be forgotten. One day the inevitable heat death of the universe will swallow up all existence. The more time goes on, the less I care which one of these things happens first.
We have to get rid of jack. And Elvis. Both are over paid.
I’ve never participated in sports gambling, but I might bet enough to pay off my student loans the next time we play the Penguins. It’s incredibly predictable how no matter what team we have on the ice, what year it is, what goalie is in net, what lead we have… we just end up getting stomped.
My only saving grace this year is maybe getting to see Foligno raise a cup. Other than that fuck this.
Brutal man. We looked so good in Winnipeg… and now this. I would’ve been happy even if they’d just shown some fight, but they looked lost for most of the game. And the officiating didn’t help either.

One day we’ll sweep the Pens year in and year out, stamp out playoff dreams and sweep them in the first round. But Crosby, Malkin, Guentzel, and Rust won’t be there so it won’t be quite as sweet but, *sigh* one day I won’t be there either
