Well it appears that my two-week-old daughter’s good luck has run out.
So do I put her back in to recharge or what?
That’s some vintage Kraken hockey
Hate to see a loss when you out shoot your opponent 33-16
Well at least the refs didn’t fuck us…….but this was more brutal to watch
Man, where was the energy?! Our vibes were so off tonight!
Guhh. Back to just hoping for individual achievements. Go Shane!!!
Jones isn’t any better/worse than Gru.
Our defense isn’t helping.
Both statements can be true.
##**SHANE WRIGHT DID THE THING**
Doubled them up on shots, and Allen made some plays (including the ridiculous knob save against Gourde). A bit too sloppy from the Kraken to feel totally fine with it, but we played better than the score indicated.
i’m not saying this change is NECESSARY but if we added somebody named « jingleheimer schmidt » to the broadcast team, john would say « john jt jingerheimer schmidt » several times a day and that sort of fun differential thing could really provide a boost imo
Congratulations Shane
4 goals on 8 shots after second period won’t get er done. Jones looking like Gru 🤣
Extremely frustrating game, but not in the typical way. Seattle played well on the PK but made absolutely bone headed mistakes at even strength. Burakovaky especially had a really rough game.
Team is clearly not ready to seriously complete if this is how they’re going to play. Defense has regressed. Offense is allergic to shooting and is passing like shit. Goalies are a liability to be protected on a good night. Need to develop and add some top line talent before we’re going anywhere.
Offense looked potent again. Defense largely stout, but the mistakes they made were whoppers. Very winnable game.
Back on the road we go!
At least BenSoloGhost blocked me tn 😂
What’s wrong bro?
Frustrating game.
Lots of good opportunities that we couldn’t convert on. Bad defensive lapses leading to goals against. A meatball or two getting by Jones that he should have had.
Upside is Wright’s first NHL goal(!) and improvement on the PK.
Credit where credit is due: Montreal played incredible defense and they had the better goalie tonight by a mile.
Does Allison have stats on Burakovsky turnovers? Because the 2nd MTL goal was a big turning point in the game. And I see this all too often. See Winnepeg game OT.
This team needs better defense. Has been terrible lately and the offense can’t score 3 plus goal every night. Luckily they are on the road and this team is somehow better on the road.
It sucks we lost but Allen was a brick wall tonight. Of course we could have played a little better but we’ll get em’ next time. 🦑🦑
How can our defense look so good, and yet we still allow so many terrible breakaways?
this game was whack but happy for Shane Wright and glad to see Geekie back
Welp.
Sure hope the Kraken will bounce back from this on Friday against the Caps. Next week’s schedule looks brutal.
We are slumping bad right now. Everything looks all messed up.
Sloppy. A well rested team against someone with back to back games. Only good thing was that the third line looked even more dangerous with Wright on board.
Can win ‘em all, but the team was off in all departments today.
Bad time to enter a slump when Vegas starts going on a streak.
Honestly Montreal played great, 19 blocked shots on top of Kraken having 33 SoG. Their D and Allen did extremely well cutting off scoring chances.
Hopefully a good road trip will get things shifted in the right direction and we can see a little streak again!
Go Kraken!
