Im not liking this for slaf, he is taking many high hits. Some hits where dirty and some where his fault. He needs to be aware to use his huge size for deleverying hits and protecting himself. This far this season I feel that everytime his game is going well those happen.
He took another big hit last week. Not quite as bad as this one. He better keep his head up a little better.
Penalty, which is utter and total nonsense, speaks for itself. Ref couldn’t find anything wrong with the physical part of the hit so called a bs interference. (no charging, boarding, head contact, blind side, etc.)

Primary contact is the head. That is just the reality of it. 2 minutes is a joke but NHL officiating these days is a joke to begin with.

Clean hit by the rules, questionnable as to necessary, dangerous for sure. Hits like that happen, if you make that hit, expect a rain-check but what you get in return may not be as on the line.
