I think people actually attending the games are way up even if ticket sales aren’t really reflecting that. More people than I ever remember being at games on my last 2 visits, crowds I haven’t seen there since 2017.
And hey, it’s been less than 2 months of being a great team for the first time in what feels like forever.
It takes time being for bandwagon fans to come back.

The rock is probably one of the smaller NHL arenas right? Attendance usually picks up through and after the Christmas holidays.

I think they should have made the comparison to the first quarter of the 2019 season. I imagine most teams have parts of the year that draw better than others – like how the Devils have historically drawn weakly during the NFL season. Comparing the 2022 fall Devils numbers Vs the 2019 whole year number doesn’t quite seem fair.
