Every team in every sport goes thru a slump at some point in the season. Florida seems to be at the start of one now or they may continue winning again next game. As a Hurricane STM they are the last team in the east I would want to face, then TB. Cant wait for the playoffs!!
Koskinen played great. He is listed with 44 saves(47 SA) though I am pretty sure the counting got stuck for while at 41 SA. Koskinen made 3-5 saves whilst it was stuck and was never corrected.
Oilers have improved statiscally and defensively in every games (except Minnesota) under Jay Woodcroft. They just need a goalie now. Solid game by Koski though
I know the cats lost but Barkov is so so good that I seriously start to think he is probably the best player in the league (no hate towards Mcdavid or matthews)
Man Bouch is struggling defensively, caught puck watching that Fugly turn over causing 3 on 1. He's right there, the lights are on but their's no one home…not just him but the other young defense core. Barrie made some spectacular defensive moves on those 2 on 1's Glad coach reduced Bouch's ice time in the 3rd. Go Oilers Go !
Oil turnovers were pretty rough in those highlights, should have cost them the game a few times, kosk bailed them out for sure, time to watch some video boys and lessen the uneeded turnovers
