    That was FUN. Is everybody having fun again?!

    Copying & pasting this from the GDT, interested to see what people think

    The problem with PP2 is that they don’t have a quarterback, they don’t have someone that can control a powerplay. Trouba can certainly shoot but isn’t the QB that Fox is. All 3 of the kids are talented but aren’t the type of player to just control the power play.

    PP1 has 3 quarterbacks with Panarin, Fox, and Zibanejad.

    There’s 3 ways to fix this

    1: One of the kids becomes the quarterback that the 2nd powerplay unit needs. Laf is the most likely to do so IMO

    2: Move one of the 3 PP1 QBs down to PP2. This is not going to happen, but I would be interested to see Panarin with some of the kids

    3: Make a trade for a PP2 quarterback. Idk who this could be, but last year Copp helped out PP2 a lot.

    The whole vibe seemed different tonight. I’m into it. Let’s keep the train moving. LGR 🗽

  4. IHSCOUTII1973

    Well, safe to say that those lines aren’t half bad

  5. MatsuiPornCollection

    I’ve never truly appreciated how ridiculously large the MSG studio desk is

  6. L_viathan

    KAKKO, GOAL

    CHYTIL, GOAL

    LAFFY, GOAL

    THE KIDS

    ARE ALRIGHT

    Wow. Say what you will about the other games but this was THE feel good win of the season. Save a few stretches in the second, we dominated the best team in the West. Despite giving one up on the 5 on 3, we held structurally and played an absolutely complete game. Igor was barely worked and the fact that all three of our kids scored is really just something to behold. Mika did what Mika does.

    I might get some naysayers on this, but I actually don’t mind Goodrow on the 2nd line. If he can just tighten up some of that mental shit from this evening I can see him being a solid addition. That said, Kravtsov really needs some playing time on a more consistent basis.

    Keep 13/93/24. PP still needs a bit of a shakeup. Other than that, I’m getting a bit penisy again. Someone stop me.

    Gallant is the best thing thats happened to NYR in a long time. Y’all are nuts thinking anything different

  9. rushy1911

    cool win. our 4th line looked great with Brodzinski and Gaut tbh. and my zoomer bros are good

    also Dryden Hunt beat up a Bruin today which was very random but cool

  10. Equivalent_Holiday15

    Trolled the leading team in the west, Colorado next! Panarin blocking shots being up by 4 🫡

  11. music_chris

    Why aren’t we taking about Shesty tonight?! Fantastic performance and the only goal let in was with a 5 on 3

  12. kingchar_006

    – Yankees extend Judge✅
    – Knicks with a blowout win against the Hawks✅
    – Rangers follow it up with a comfortable win of their own✅

    I don’t know what I did to be blessed today but boy was it a good ass day! I’m in a good ass mood and hope everyone else is feeling good and enjoys the rest of the night with good vibes!!🙏🏾♥️

  13. guccikline

    First line should be final with Laf/Mika/kakko for the rest of the year

  14. Optimistic_Tortilla

    Anyone know what that misconduct was about?

  15. ChopinBallades

    Mika may love Kreider, but it’s time for him to take care of the kids.

  16. homiej420

    Man looks like an entirely different team to saturday’s lifeless mess

  17. ItsYourBoyFBP

    Hopefully, we keep this going on Friday!

    Colorado is looking weak right now:

    **Injured:**

    * V. Nichushkin
    * N. Mackinnon
    * B. Byram
    * J. Manson
    * K. MacDermid
    * E. Rodrigues
    * S. Bowers
    * G. Landeskog
    * D. Helm

    Would love to see us capitalize on that and get another W, it’d truly be huge for our confidence. 👏🏻

  18. darkgrayallalone

    It’s nice to see the PP score a couple. It’s nice to see the kids all score. That was a great win.

  19. AlienManaBanana

    What a statement win. Not leaving Shesterkin out to dry. Almost everyone played great. Only giving up a goal on a 5v3. Making them frustrated. Goalie breaking his stick.

    Then Ranger fans clowning on away ice- beautiful

  20. jtlimbo17

    They took the early lead, held onto it until they committed a couple of stupid penalties and that was the only time they gave up a goal despite a really strong push from Vegas in the second period (which continues to be our kryptonite).

    The defense kept them in the game for long enough until the offense (primarily the power play) won the game.

    This is one of those classic wins we saw a lot of last season. I’m really hoping they continue to build on these types of performances.

  21. Gyroflex

    This felt like the week 1 rangers again

  22. retropit

    Great game. Love the new lineups

    – give the kids more reign: goals from LAF, KK and FIL
    – each lineup is skating HARD
    – more shots on goal
    – big hits on the offense and defense
    – if Zib, Kreids and Bread want to play together: let them do so on the PP

  23. Flamecyborg

    Kakko speaking the truth: « Yea I feel it’s easier to do things on the ice rather than on the bench »

  24. Never_Forget_94

    What is wrong with Lafreniere’s face?

  25. NoeyBalbonzers

    Love that kakko just said « yeah, it’s easier to do stuff on the ice then on the bench ». 🤣

  26. BroccRL

    I’m glad we get more evidence that we absolutely have the talent to be a good team, I think the two factors working against us are motivation/mindset and lineup choices. Tonight it looked like we figured out the first (besides a portion of the second period) and are close to the second (if gallant doesn’t fuck shit up again)

  27. eidanoosh

    Looking good, played great 2/3 periods, getting there. Lines are working, I would bring Krav back on the second line with Bread and Chytil, move Goody to the third line with Tro and Kreids, Vesey on the 4th, scratch Blais.

  28. Grouchy-Power-806

    If we can put a nice winning streak together 5-6 games, we are right back in this.

  29. hernameisbrennan

    Kakko: “It’s a little bit easier to do something on the ice than on the bench”
    print that out in a huge font and staple it to Gallant’s massive fucking head, so he reads it in the mirror every morning. Words this whole organization needs to internalize, really

  30. Can’t believe kreider or trocheck didn’t score.

  31. InsideIngenuity

    THIS JUST IN: The kids are here to play

  32. FoghornLeghorn99

    The boys look much better, but we need my Kakko and Laf ice.

    Goodrow on line 2 is still silly he made a great pass and negatively impacted the game in the other 59 minutes.

    Glad Brodz was in.

    Kravy should also be in.

  33. JokinHghar

    This game was pleasurable. I thank my wife for getting me this #13 jersey. Live Laff Love.

  34. BroccRL

    Also, this was a fantastic showing from the defense compared to previous games, don’t want that to get overshadowed

  35. WirSilliam

    If Charlie shit a Billy Goat, ill be God damned. This game was a jaw dropper & huge boost all around. Lgr

  36. Kbb0509

    I can’t stop watching the post-game. I have to be up for work in four hours but after my shift tomorrow I’m off for three weeks/until after New Years so it was worth it to stay up.

  37. Da4RealDeal

    Incredibly happy with this win tonight! Feels vindicating seeing the the kids score after being given some top six time haha. Hopefully they keep this momentum going into Colorado! It would be HUGE for this group to string together some wins in the next week, especially against some of the high end teams that we’ll be facing. Let’s keep it up!

  38. brush85

    Panarin to Mika is my love language

  39. kingchar_006

    Also shoutout to all the Blueshirts fans for traveling to Vegas and letting out those LGR chants! Best fans in the league for a reason!!🔵🔴

  40. PhillyJ739

    Still probably gonna be calling for Gallant’s head later next week but I love this team and this win

  41. supposablyhim

    I’ve been to two games this year. kraken and Vegas. thank god for the depleted knights so i can feel good walking out of a game.

  42. kingfarouk

    Yeah this win felt really good, hate the late start time but happy to have watched it, got some tough games coming up with the Avs and then nj, but it would be absolutely fucking incredible to secure some wins in those games LGR everyone! And I hope everyone has a good night

  43. NSNSprite

    Getting closer to putting together a full 60. Weathered a hell of a storm in the second and found our stride in the third. Would still like a place for Kravy in the lineup although it’s undeniable how significant Goodrow was for us tonight. Gotta think a victory like this on the back of the win against the Blues is going to keep the ball rolling for us in revenge game against Georgiev, especially against a battered Avs team. Need all the points we can get!

  44. How many times did goalies get hit in the mask?

    Almost feels like it was on purpose.

  45. agent7300

    big win. need to string more together

  46. sagmoon21

    Btw I think I might be in love with Chytil. Has taken a huge step forward from a year ago and the front office better pay him
